Report N1 (added on September, 13, 2005)
Well I'm back again! This scammer is new on the site and is working me from two email address at the same time; she is using the same first name on both as Maria! But her letters are very different from each other, and it wasn't until she sent a photo from each email address that I put two and two together! They were the same person!!! Alarm bells went off in my head; at first I thought I got the photos mix up some how but then I put them side by side and not only was it the same girl in the photos the back ground was the same!!! So I play her at her own game I
email her at one address saying which email address do I use just in case she was using both to email me as the same person, I mean I have 5 email address myself: so I give her the chance to see what she would say I even sent her a copy of the email and photo from the other address, But she sent a email back saying she did not know this address or the girl in the photo? Please how thick is the girl my god she emailing me twice and sending me photos of herself!! You should have a look at the photos to see
for yourself it's LOL, so in her last email she asked me for money for Internet services as it was costing her between $240-$300 a month, god she must be on 24-7 all them scam's anyway the way she put it in her letter was if you could but I don't want you to but I do because if not I can't
write to you anymore! Right been there done that and got the t-shirt dear please, so I'm going to put an end to this tonight but not yet to the other email address I want to see what her next move is on that one I keep you guys up to date on this one cheers.
Report N2 (added on March, 7, 2006)
This person was calling herself: Tatiana Vinokurova. The address that was given to me is:
Vladimir. Lenin Street. 21-34. Index 600000 . (This address as well is probably fake)
Her email addresses are: email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org
She fraudulently received from me 3050.00 British Pounds (Three thousand and fifty Pounds)
I was contacted by this person through the internet in December 2005 after she found my profile on the Lithuanian chat/dating website Takas. We started exchanging letters regularly.
I began to feel more attracted to her. She then started a more romantic correspondence and asked me to pay for her trip to the UK. She first asked for money to pay for her flight to London telling that she would use her savings to pay for her passport and visa. She then asked for expenses to travel to Moscow and get her visa and plane ticket. The following step was the need of evidence of fund to be allowed to go through custom and security at the airport in Moscow, then she had some of her money stolen when she vas going back to her hotel. At the end of the story, she couldn’t board the plane because she had to go to hospital for emergency treatment.
The British Consulate in Moscow has confirmed to me that she never applied for a visa.
This person or organisation is till active on the net today. If you send an email to email@example.com you will received a pre-written letters with your name on the first line.
I agree that I was very naive and stupid to get caught by this scam.
