Report N1 (added on September, 13, 2005)

I was contacted by Evgeniya in response to a personals ad I listed on Lavalife. She wrote me a total of 8 or 9 letters, saying she was traveling from Samara to Moscow to pick up her visa and taking a flight to the U.S., with the last one ending with a request for money. (She claimed that customs wouldn't allow her to travel to the U.S. without
at least having $1000 in spending money, and she was around $380 short after buying her plane tickets. She asked me to Western Union the money to her at the Moscow airport, or else she'd have to turn around and go
back home again.)

As usual for these types of scams, she "fell in love" with me rather quickly, and even sent 2 emails in a row that were 4 line long "love poems" - but didn't directly answer a number of my questions (such as asking how she managed to get a tourist visa to the United States so
