Scammer, failed with me, visa and ticket cash request. Not found either by name of photo anywhere on internet scam sites, beware, a looker.

Report N2 (added on February, 7, 2006)

I was approached via my profile on faceparty by a doctor called Elena Panafidina from Yadrin in Russia. She said she was looking for happiness on the internet, as Russian men drank too much vodka! After a few letters she told me she loved me, never answered any of my questions at all and then started to call herself my “future wife”.

I looked on faceparty again and saw she had 15 or so similar profiles, all slightly different, and another profile of her was put on there by someone she had previously scammed, as a warning to others. She told me she had never corresponded with anyone in a foreign country before, but this person had two of her photos!

I have sent two emails asking her why she is trying to scam me, but instead of replies I get sent the next letter in the series, i.e. I think I should come to your country to meet you and live with you, will you help me?

I am still correponding with her at the time of writing this report, to see what she will try to get me to do for her next.

Report N3 (added on February, 13, 2006)

I was also in touch with Elena until reading this report, she as just asked for 974 euro for visa and tickets after falling in love within a month, needless to say I wont be sending any money now. She told me was she was a doctor but never referd to an illness I suffer from, this was what first gave me pause for thought. She as sent me 4 pictures with her letters and about 9 or 10 letters in all, none of wich seem to anser any specific questions I have asked of her.

Report N5 (added on April, 7, 2006)

This scammer contacted me through Faceparty and was slowly reeling me in. I exchanged letters for friendship as the i didnt believe that we would ever meet and being a hopeless romantic i was slowly drawn into the web of deciet by the letters i recieved. I asked friends if there was any way i could validate the person i was mailing and my best friend recommended i run a search on google and i am so glad that i did. To all you hopeless romantics out there...beware!...if it sounds to good to be true then it probabley is. I didnt send any money and i hope the scam remains unsuccessful for the future. Thank you stop-scammers and thanks to everyone who posted their warnings about Elena.
