Report N1 (added on June, 20, 2006)

YOUNG WOMEN LOOKS FOR OLDER AMERICAN MAN, FALLS IN LOVE SOON - 3 WEEKS, SHE DREAMS OF YOU, HAS 1 SISTER PLUS MOM & DAD, LIVES IN 3 ROOMS, WORKS IN PURFUME FACTORY, MAKES $100.00 PER MONTH. POOR AMERICAN TRANSLATION EXCEPT FOR LOVE POEM.

Ed (USA)

Report N2 (added on September, 12, 2006)

Ed has already filed a report on this scammer. She used the same m/o on me. Fell in love way too fast, letters got very raunchy but letters often seemed to not follow up on previous topics in last letter. I was suspicious right along but when she announced that she was coming to visit me with only two weeks notice (after I sent the airfare of course) then I knew this was a complete scam. Single Russian women don't get US visas period! I didn't send money- only a fool would do that! Also, the photo Ed posted was interesting because my "Anna" was the girl sitting just to the left of Ed's "Anna". So there must be two scammers using the same name, or more likely some con man using the same photos.

Attached you will find a number of the torrid love letters "she" (if it was a she-who knows?) sent me over the course of a couple of months. Anna Gerber first contacted me through Match.com (the American version) which I thought was a bit odd, but I had corresponded with another russian woman (apparently legitimate) for awhile and she had also reached me through Match. Gerber contacted me in mid-May and by mid-June was hopelessly in love with me- or so she said. You can see how the letters went (they are in reverse order chronologically). I didn't bother sending all the letters because it would have taken forever to copy them into Word. The ones attached are a representative sample.

I am also sending the photos she sent to me.

I hope no one has been dumb enough to send this person money. When she hit me up for $2000 that was the final convincer for me. I wrote her and said I couldn't send her money, but how about me getting her a ticket. I figured that would make her show her true colors and it did. I never heard from her again.

Thanks for putting this service up. I wish I had known about it sooner. I would have sdaved myself as lot of time!
