Report N1 (added on October, 2, 2006)

I met Yulia at Date Me Free. She was not as impatient as most scammers. I got 6 letters before I got the "money letter" from the translation agency. Most of the time, you only get 3 letters before the money request. I asked Yulia for her full name in every letter I sent as well as basic information about herself.. She would never answer any questions.

Report N2 (added on November, 2, 2006)

My ex husband has been talking to yulia, and he sent money for translation, when I showed him how to google her name and email and how she showed up on 4 scamming sights. Including yours, she was added by Wayne on oct 6 2006. My ex has been emailing her since august. He still believes she is real and he is the one she loves and he bought a plane ticket to the ukraine, leaving this friday 11-24 and he is bringing cash to put in her bank account.

I asked him if she is so poor and has to live in her college dorm, where did she get money for professional pictures, the bathing suits in the pictures and who took these pictures?
questions either he wont ask or she refuses to answer.
I asked him how in the world is a poor girl in a northern country tan? he says she goes to the beach at the black sea. When I pointed out to him the ukraine is too far north to be that hot.
he ignores me.
I have travelled extensively by myself. And I am much more internet savy than he is. When he wired cash to nigeria to get a supposed visa for a girl from the UK. I told him people that hold UK passports do not need visas to visit the US. And he sent the 5 grand for a travel account so she can show she has money to take a holiday. I also that told him that was complete BS and a total lie.
I tried to teach him how to research by using google and the US STate department travel warnings.
to no avail. He is convinced this Yulia girl is real and only wants to be with him forever I dont have the letter from the nigerian scammer..
but he met her on as well under the name Sophia Coleman, she claimed to be from manchester new hampshire and manchester UK,, and he belived it.
He wired cash to Nigeria thinking the number he was calling was in the UK. I told him the country code for the UK is 44 not the number he had and that country code cooresponded to nigeria.
the email for this girl was
of course no profile was set up . I told him yahoo is free email that anyone anywhere can get.
anyway I cannot save him, but maybe I can save some other poor fool from falling into the same trap.
