Report N1

I sent her an e-mail and she responded. We e-mailed for a month and after a couple of weeks she started to ask for money for an airplane ticket to come to the usa. I sent the money and then she wanted more money for a return ticket and I sent that. The total was 1500 dollars. Then I found out that she was lying to me and another man. I confronted her with this and I have not heard from her again. She is a scammer and is not to be trusted. Beware of her.

Report N2

I have sent her $1200 and she is still telling me that she is coming but do not haer from her for day so I did a new check on her name and and she came up as a new scammer the letters to JIM G. are the same as my letters down to the coin.

Craig (USA)

Report N3

I have recived 40 letters from her all with the coin trick, needing 700 to 800 dollars for tickets to come visit me, then asking for a return ticket casue she was addvised wrong by the agency she was going to for the Visa's. She got $750 from me. Do not trust her at all.

Mark (USA)

Report N4

Same thing happened to me as Mark(N3) except one new catch. After being stoppeed at Customs with that damn coin and missing the flight, her father has a heart problem and goes to the hospital.
Then a new scam starts. I will say one thing, she's good!

She contacted me on a dating site with a vary creative story about being a teacher and a widow, Her husband was a police officer killed in the line of duty. In her last letter she requested money to obtain a visa.

David (Canada)

Report N6

Lubov wrote me many times and baited me about her love and wanting to see America, I sent her #800.00 for ticket, then She wrote, She needed return ticket, I sent #680.00, then she wrote She needed $500,00 as not to be caught on street as tramp//Vargancy. I sent a total of $2163.00, including Western Union fees and have heard nothing. She is a thief and needs to be arrested as I read other scam letters, She wrote and all the same.

Report N7

I am a single father with two children at home, 57 y.o., self employed white American. I have a profile posted on Dating Faces and received a letter from Lubov asking for correspondence. Total correspondence (1/20/04 till 2/19/04) lasted thru 13 letters from her during which she went from asking for me to write to declarations of love, and oh, would I send her money for tickets so she could come stay with me for a visit. Very clumsily handled scam. Letters almost never addressed anything mentioned or questions asked - just sent the next letter in the sequence upon receipt of reply to last. After I said I could not send cash, I never heard from her again.

Report N8

She contacted me through Yahoo Personals.

Same pattern as a typical scam. Thankfully I did some research and found this brilliant site.

Report N9 (added on April, 2, 2005)

Natasha contacted me in January 2005. Her letters started off quite innocently and were quite beliveable. She asked questions and answered specific questions. The letters have a different feel about them, as though they are written by two people. Her spoken English is better than her written English. I gave her my phone number and she rang me at home, although at a time when she would know I would be at work. Very quickly she professed undying love for me. She told me about her friend working in a travel agents. She forgot to ask me when it would be convenient for her to plan a trip and she has now pretended to be buying the ticket and visa, all for 800 euros, and is allegedly arriving on 10th March. The pictures sent I think are of two different girls. She allegedly works in a restaurant as a 'food technologist' but she works a standard working day and week, unusual for a restaurant worker (and what is a food technologist doing in a restaurant?).
She made the mistake of using a letter already posted on this site, which makes me suspect that she is connected with Anastasia Lebedeva. I have been in contact with another person who confirms he has been contacted by a girl, same story, same pics.

Report N10 (added on April, 2, 2005)

I have been talking with this girl for right at a month. Very nice girl, sent pictures of her and her with her mum and dad. We exchanged 10 leters each. This one is very patient. I went to tripadvisor to look into plain fairs and what not, and ran across a posting of a guy who was talking to a girl with a very simular e-mail address. We began comparing notes and he had the very same pics and story I had! She had not asked money from either of us just yet, but had been hinting at it. She is a definate scammer, but doesn't realy show any of the signs. She answers your questions. She doesn't fall madly in love with you. But instead works on developing a relationship with you and then begans carfully using the english language to slowly let you believe she is falling in love with you. Watch out for this one.
