It is a circuit that deceive men from abroad.
Report N12 (added on December, 2, 2016)
Kat apptoached me by email. She told me that most Russian men are drunks and she was looking for a good man overseas. She told me that the age difference between us (she is 29, I am 66) was not important as there is a big age difference between her parents.
She quickly became very friendly and sent me many photos of herself, her parents, her kittens and dog and her city.
After a few weeks she told me she had several weeks leave coming up and she wanted to travel to meet me. She initially asked for US$520 which surprised me because the airfare to New Zealand where I live is much more expensive than that. She also told me she had been to Moscow to get s tourist visa.
A week or so later she said she was ready to travel the following weekend and could I send her US$250.
After that I did not reply then I fould her on your website using a different name.
Peter (New Zealand)
Report N13 (added on December, 2, 2016)
She contacted me and used the same worn out scam. She decided on her own to come to me, claimed to travel to Mockba to the U.S. Embassy for an interview for the tourist visa. Lies. She never used my first name in letters to me, which were scam templates. She never gave to me her postal address, though I asked often. She gave to me a telephone number, which I called, and heard her voice. She told me after three weeks that she did not have enough money, needed $520 immediately, or she could not come to see me in the U.S. More lies. This scam is quite common now, though the money demand has gone up from $300 and is now often $500 at least. They always ask for money after three weeks because using the Internet cafe costs money, will not last.
