Typical scam, fell in love, sent letters daily with photos, including a jpeg of her current visa with altered issue date, needs money for half the airfare, wired the money Western Union.

Report N2 (added on October, 12, 2005)

Contacted my private e-mail out of the blue. After some investigation I found a known russian dating scam letter on the web matching the letter sent to me from Nadezhda (Nadya) with small variations.
The first three sentences were identical.

Report N3 (added on March, 29, 2007)

I know i have been scammed by a crafty person who pulls at the heart strings using religion in a deceitful way.
She fell in love after telling me she had a dream that God told her we must be together and cried at the truth of her vision God showed her as a orthodox religious christian woman.
The last letter is just saying she wants to be with me, when i said i would send her the money, and i had $2600.00 in the bank. she did not ask questions or say much about a girl who says is deeply in love in such a short time, I did get a phone call from a girl claiming her love and wanted to hear my voice, I told her about how i go fishing everyday, and a e-mail said do you like fishing. i gave her my home address and phone number many times, but again she claims she needs my telephone number. in letter number 8, her English just changes to near perfict. I was sucked in big time, i believed she loved me and the hardest part was when she used religion as a soul pulling tool, I trusted every word as truth. until i saw this person on many scam sites i knew about the con. my mind just keeps thinking maybe it was a girl that a international scam or this girl was a inocent victom, it was sad.

Report N6 (added on July, 18, 2008)

Received several unsolicited emails from a so called Mariya (actually probably some guys in Yoshkar Ola (Itraced their I.P. address back to that city). Love letters asking for information. Said she was in love and wanted to call me. Never did. Then said she is getting Visa and saving money to visit me in Chicago. Never asked me for money.
