My computer got infected by programs spyaxe and spysheriff !
I doubt very much my correspondence with some Russian scammer.
These programs inform that my computer has malware and I have to buy their program to remove the malware! These programs disturb my computer now very much with many pop-ups all the time !
I am sure that the origin is from Russia because these programs include also some Russian text ! And all is very strange because I have already a good program to remove malware and pop-ups but they can't remove those programs !
Can anyone help me ? How to remove spyaxe and spysheriff from my computer ??

there are spyware antivirus tools working like antivirus: you obviously didn't have one while you should.
a good suite including firewall, anti virus & spyware + more is
http://www.v-com.com/product/SystemSuite_Home.html
their anti spyware is excellent (there are many bogus ones around), firewall is from sygate & antivirus-spyware from trendmicro.
if they have disrupted your computer registry very much, you'll have to reinstall your system completely.
malware usually plants key into the registry seen running msconfig in the "run" prompt then looking under services & startup.

Another way around removing spyware is if you have access to another PC and have Anti Spyware & virus checker installed on that.
Is if you know how replace Harddrives is put your drive in that pc as a slave drive and then scan it with the new PC. (Opening a new PC's case will invalidate the warranty!!!)

That's what most PC support companies I've worked for do.
Doesn't always work but easier than rebuilding your operating system.

I myself partition my harddrive and use a program called Norton Ghost to make a backup image of the main C: drive so if you do get infected you can get you pc back in a few mins. Also Setup a partition that is not on the C: drive to keep you documents, that way you wont lose any data if you have to backup.

Oh, and Windows XP users if you use Windows Restore from an earlier date, remember that you may have been infected before and Restore will just put back any virus or spyware.

Now I'm not Buffy's Watcher I need a new Hobby.
Well I could get the Kawasaki ZX-9R out. Warp speed Mr Sulu.
