My name is Melisa. I may be one of the girls you men probably wrote to. I am better known as Malisa #5118. I belonged to one of the branches in BA Argentina and I am writing so all of you finally find out what is really going on at these "marriage agencies".

First of all, let me start by saying that I had no clue my picture and profile were going to be posted on that site. I was tricked and lied to just like all of you. This all started last year when I read an ad in the paper. The ad was written by Gaston Tomkinson. It said he was looking for girls who were models or just good looking girls who were interested in being on the cover of magazines or publicity. The ad had his telephone number and once I called, an interview was scheduled to meet him at an office located in the city of BA.

I am studying musical comedy and I really like acting (if I had had the chance to come out in any comercial that would have been great for me) and so I decided to go to the address.

To my surprise, the address belonged to an office called Fiancee connections. I know English perfectly well so I was a little confused whether to go on with the interview or not. Finally, I decided to meet this guy named Gaston.

At the office were a couple of translators and the manager called Silvia Fomina better known as Svetlana (She's Russian). She seemed nice at first. In another room was Gaston. He talked to me for about an hour promising me all kind of fantastic things (coming out on the cover of several magazines, relating to famous stars, doing commercials, even an apartment for me to stay at)Of course in order to acheive this I needed to give him my pictures and some personal information that was written in my C.V. So I left the office feeling wonderful and believing every word he said. Several days went by and I did not hear anything from him nor the agency. Still, I did not contact him.

Suddenly, one day he contacted me. I was shocked with what he said to me! He said that my pictures and profile were on a site called Fiancee connections (www.fcon.com.ar) and that all he had promised was a lie just to get new girls on the site. I couldn't believe it! I asked him what kind of site it was and why he had done that. He said it was a pornographic site and he was telling me all that beacuse he felt bad about lieing to me (I later discovered he was suing the company because they never paid him for each "new girl" he added to the site). I immediately browsed the net and noticed it was a marriage agency and that my picture was on it! I went mad and headed to the office. I told the manager, Silvia, that Gaston and she were liars and that I wanted my picture and profile removed from the site. She said "of course", but did not do this. I told my father and lawyer what they had done and they finally pressured the manager to remove every picture, since they were posted against my will. My lawyer is still working on the case, which I am sure I'll win due to the fact that I never sighned any papers and I have many witnesses who will talk in my favour (Gaston and translators).

After some time, I was able to contact some of the translators working there and they confessed that the reason the manager did not want to remove my pictures nor profile from the site was beacuse many men were writing to me! So I said, "well, If I don't answer them what's the problem?" The translator confessed that the manager told them what they had to write. So this means that you men probably thought that I was the one answering! I was so mad and disgusted and asked the translator why they did such a thing. They said that even though the agency pays really low salaries, they needed the job until they found something better (translators don't last more than 3 months). They said that around 80% of the girls on the site had no clue they were on it and that most girls had only gone to the agency only once to have some pictures taken there but never to write a letter. They said that the manager is so cheap that she does not even pay the girls, she just uses their image and information. Translators have to come up with silly excuses for the men who arrive at the agency. How could men meet girls who did not have any knowledge of being part of such a sacm?!

Gaston confessed he had added many girls to the site using the same lies and that he was finally saying the truth because he was sick of the cheap managers who did not want to pay him. He said that the only girls that met with men were from Russia or Ukraine and that was beacuse they were also friends with the manager but even they don't get paid. It seems that they just like to have a nice meal and gifts and why not? an opportunity to leave Argentina.

He also said that the telephone conversation are all fake and that the manager's friends go to the office to talk on their behalf. Also when men ask for new pictures, the manager makes the translators write the same excuses to all men (beacuse women never go back to the agency to have a new picture taken of them).

All I can say is that we Argentinean women are very beautiful on the inside and on the outside too but what I have learned is that Russsian and Ukrainean women are disgusting, greedy and materialistic.
I hope this post helps all of you men who have doubts about these sites. I hate lies and I hate scammers.

I think this site is a good way of preventing men from joining sites like this. I have heard that the branches here in BA are having some trouble beacuse men aren't able to meet the girls they have been writing to for years. So keep up the good work guys! I think that soon all these Russian scammers will be stopped.

P.S. I'm sorry but I don't know if I'll post again.

Interesting post,
And please take no offense when I question the validity or
sincerety of it. It sounds believeable based on a recent
post by Prometheus, that many of these women could be
tricked into supplying photo's. I may or may not have
been out of line for my personal verbal attacks on the
unknown women that could have been involved in scams.
I recall reading two books on the topic of how to read
a person like a book. the first book entitled, "How To Read a Person
Like a Book" talks all about body language, and the other
book, "I Know What Your Thinking" Talks a little about sentence
structure. There is talk that whenever anyone says, "Let me be
perfectly honest with you"......or, "This is the truth", that they
are getting ready to tell a lie, and that everything that they say
after that will probably be not true. Does that mean that I am an
expert in interpersonal relationships? My communications here at
this website will show that I am not. Maybe it was just a poor
word choice and I mean no offense, I'm just a little leary.
Hope that you understand? Your account does not surprise me though.
If the story is true, I am sorry for what happened
to you. For all of the times that I have made, mist-steps in my
capacity to navigate in this life, I'm only the wiser for it.

I must also compliment you now nano! You have not written to me once
if your email address is true. I have written to you more than once.
You know exactly who I am and it is evident that you appear to be
siding with the agencies in your posts on this board.

Are we here to do battle on these forums while the true m?l?e is going
on right now??? Forgive me, yet, I have not been able to understand
your forked tongue's words. You appear every bit mysterious as the
dark secrets that arladys.com attempts to conceal. Perhaps you even
work for them. It is just an observation. Muy
bueno psychologico trabajo senior o senorita! Esta es muy bueno ahora! Queirime
mucho!!!

Buenas noches!
