nick20045! I wouldn't "buy an air ticket. get a visa. taxi to airport. fly to russia." If she scams me and I get the fuul her info,
I'll report to Interpol and (it was discussed maybe here) I'll post an article about her scam in several local Russian newspapers. The effect will be great. To the point, I'll report about that to their MIA. It's very effective. My friend catched a scammer this was in Ukraine. Therefore,as you may see, there are many ways to use that information. To the point, I think you understand that the probability that the girl with BrideCard will scam is much lower because she KNOWS THAT SHE IS FULLY KNOWN. [8D][8D][8D]

ok. here is what i understand from what you say....

1: you are russian. clue: i will report her to MIA and second clue "an articile in the local russian newspapers.

2: you know sweet nothing. the russian police are not really bothered. only in "certain" times i.e. "if pushed" will they do something.

3: talk a load of balony. your friend caught a scammer!!! wow, tell him to wait in line for the noble prize. go on the internet and see how many scammers have been caught. please print a link to the "local newspapers" this was reported on and also what action interpol and the MIA took. what prison sentence she got. how he got his refund.

4: interpol gets involved because somebody scamms a few dollars!!!! give me a break. i have a police friend who is in what in malta is called the SAG. (special assignment group). he deals with interpol. and he knows of loads of people who got scammed and will tell you a very simple answer if you tell him.......... "tough luck never send any money unless you are a fool. if she REALLY wants to see you, she can borrow the money and then send the money to who she borrowed it from by western union. but ONLY after. and STILL there is no guarantee she is not just after a free holiday".

5: "To the point, I think you understand that the probability that the girl with BrideCard will scam is much lower because she KNOWS THAT SHE IS FULLY KNOWN."

the only thing i understand is that anybody who has posted about this "so called bride card" has posted against it except you and the original poster. NO. I do not understand "the probability" and even using the word "probability" deminishes what you state in your comments. and as to being FULLY KNOWN!!!!! jeezzzzz it is the internt for crying out loud. she could be really YURI with a big fat stomach, who goes around drinking vodka, punching women and using his little sisters name and information.

i think you need to go and "peddle" your advise somewhere else. unless you may have not noticed........ nobody is falling for it. anybody who is a fool big enough to send money to a person (be it male, female, gay, transvestite, single, married, divorced, or whatever) just because somebody says "I have a Bride card", is a FOOL. and we all know what means......... say goodbye to your money.

i have a russian woman. NO BRIDE CARD. yes sometimes i "get in trouble with her" and get told off. (being a male i have that perogative). once i offered to send her money to help her out as she said she was unemployed and has a daughter (which is true as i met her and her daughter and they are 100% like the photos she sends). i got one of the biggest bollockings of my life!!!! about how i insulted her and got all sorts thrown at me.

i met her. she was just as happy going for a walk as going for a burger. nothing posh. and even go to a bar, have a glass of orange while i have my first pint. then when i order my second pint she will have a cup of coffee. then off. she wants to leave and return home. no fancy restaurants. no fancy nightclubs........

and i am meeting her again in december and still no Bride card.

and the one before her that i met was the same. the maximum i spent on her in one night was about 200 roubles. a meal at the restaurant of the hotel i was in. and if we ate out, she will only order one plate to keep the price of the bill down.

that is what to me says "a decent woman" not a bride card. and most members on here who have been either corresponding with some lady for a while, or have met their ladies, will also confirm what proves a decent woman.

to all russian scammers: i am somewhat of a bullshi*ter myself but i do like to listen to a professional. please carry on

    Decent woman...
    nick20045 - you're like a radio - you read but don't understand!
Why do you write about the meeting? I'm talking about avoiding being scammed in the first phase of the relations, much before the meeting.
And that service is like a "firewall". To the point, is it clever to ask for the passport at the meeting if I can check her reality right now, using that service? Why should I waste time trying to catch her if I can check it ina simple way????

    BBC radio 1 here:

this is a repeat. i repeat this is a repeat.

read my story about the "father and the little boy" understand the moral of the story. just in case.......

never trust anybody 100%. will this card guarantee that she will like you 100% when you meet? will it guarantee she will be a good wife? will it guarantee she is not promiscuous? will it guarantee she can keep home, can cook and does not spend all your money. will be faithful until death do you part?

so if you want to trust "a total stranger" with your lovelife, up to you. personally, i wrote to a few ladies. slim the list down to the ones i really like and then simple process of elimination. BUT if it fails!!!! no problem. move on. no sense crying over spilt milk.

so lets say went to meet her. had a holiday. met somebody. she translated for me. she showed me the sights. maybe got the odd home made russian meal. she seems ok. great!!!!!

    otherwise, move on.

and look at it from a positive view........

if you go to a different country. do not speak the language. you have somebody 24/7 (or maybe close to it), looking after you, translating for you, showing you all the places to visit how much will it cost if you had to hire a guide/translator/escort for a week??? remember, every cloud has a silver lining.

and last but not least, there is a BIG difference between you and me.

you tell about how you have a lot of money. you are drawing the wrong attention. and it does not pertain only to russians. it is all over the world. people who flash money get hit by hookers, bummers, scammers. they all want part of it.

i tell how i am middle class. not rich not poor. but all women i write to know that getting money out of me is like "getting blood out of a stone". if i haven't got it, i cannot send it.

p.s. i have a "brat card". is that any good?

"it does not pertain only to russians" - please, don't repeat. I'm not Russian.
Next, I repeat, I'm talking about avoiding being scammed in the first phase of the relations, much before the meeting.
I do agree, that your words about meeting and the following difficulties are right. But I mean the first communicating.

understand and do not assume. i said "does not only pertain to russians but all over the world". it means, anybody, anywhere in the world who flashes money is asking to be scammed/hustled.

very simple. do not flash your money. do not brag about it. and most of all DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY.

bbc radio 1 now is closing the service. please watch BBC world. it is received in a lot of different countries. repeats are every 30 minutes.

hey! joking apart. has anybody walked into a 5 star hotel. they brag about how they have english tv. and all you have is BBC World?? repeats every 30 minutes. drives you mad!!!!! now that is a scam cos we pay licence for it!!!!
