Report N1 (added on August, 22, 2006)

I've learned from your site via an article in a Belgian weekly about scammers and golddiggers. Because there was so much simularity between the case they wrote about and my story I decided to contact you. I myself, I am a single man (33 years) and I'm registred on a Belgian - Dutch dating site. Via that way I was contacted more then a month ago by a nice Russian lady called Ekaterina.

As a kind of courtesy I always reply and so an e-mail conversation started.

Within one month (7 letters) of e-mail conversation I went from the noble stranger to the "my future husband" status. It doesn't feel natural such a progress. I then decided to put the communciation on ice (for 2-3 weeks now) and since then my Russian princess didn't answer. I guess if she was really totally in love she must have been in despair why I didn't reply and contacted me.
Because she also writes she has a girlfriend who is married to someone in the USA I guess she probably writes to US gentlemen.

She expressed in one of her e-mail that we should meet but I never came to further organise that.

So that is it in a nutshell.
Questions, don't hesitate to contact me.

Report N2 (added on October, 10, 2006)

Hello, I am a man from Holland and I have been scammed by this one, because after a few months of writing her, she wanted to come over here and asked for money for a passport, visa, ticket and medical examination. So I send her twice money by using Western Union.
After that, she asked for entrance money, which I refused to pay. So, she said she should pay 600Euro and I should pay 1200 Euro, which I should get back when she came over to me.
Anyway, a letter later, she says she was being robbed, and the money was gone.
I refused to pay and a few days later she writes me that the thieves were caught, but not all the money was found.
She still needed another 1000 Euro.
I again didn't pay and haven't heard since.
This was 21 September.
This was shortly the story.
This scammer costs me about 2100 Euro!!
