In less than a month of corespondence she profeses love and desies for me to pay the fee for her tourist visa to come see me. She goes in to detail on how much, time frame, and how to send it.
Same as other report here, same letters, and in 3 weeks feels we need be togther for all time !
Tells we need find our lifes to become one, more like one of the "Taken Advatage of" askes for money for her "troubles" and also her pending "Visa Application"
New Address now maybe from all the Scam money made and taken called western union, as business contact with them, show in one week alone she has recived over 14 diffrent "Western union money Transfers" recently all from USA, from diffrent male submitters....
You saved me not only some money but made me more smarter going forward.
In less than a month of corespondence she profeses love and desies for me to pay the fee for her tourist visa to come see me. She goes in to detail on how much, time frame, and how to send it ans of course how much she is in love!!!
This unscrupulous and evil girl can really turn your world around with her pretended poor english.
Very clever has all kind of sob stories and will keep in touch with you daily, she'll eventually call you her prince, eventually she wants to be with you but she has no money.
The lonley and vulnerable sucker like me will send her the money then she plays the desapearing act, shame on people like her taking advantage of men with sincere intentions and doing things in good faith.
My letter was same as the other but I was trusting enough to send some money for visa. This lead to asking for money for flight to U.S.
After she had already traveled to Moscow. I then discovered her listed on Russianwomenblacklist.com.
I knew it was a scam and wanted to play along to see how soon she would ask for money. Within the first 5 emails she asked for visa money of 192.00. I wanted to test her by sending the money. She took it and gave an excuse of visiting her poor grandmother that is about to pass away. Probably her next excuse to ask for money. Anyways, hope this helps. Back to hunting for more scammers.
I read a letter tjis scammer sent to another American man and the format, words, situation, were identical! the only difference was she placed my name and changed the monetary value of what she needed for her visa! she had told me that she had obtained the other necessary documents, using her mother's name to complete the process quicker, due to her father being in the military, (who alledegly died when she was 5yrs. of age). I even warned her of receiving a warning from this site of foreign women attempting to take advantage of "worthy" men!!! She denied being involved, but I continued to search your site and found two of the same pictures she sent to me via E-mail. She gave me the address for her home to write handwritten letters and to send gifts and warned me "not to send anything expensive because Russian mail is not reliable!" She claimed to work in a local resturant to make a living, but she attended a university for accounting and that is where she learned how to speak English so well. Her claim to wanting a foreign man is because she knows friends that have done this "process" and now live happily married with foreign husband, also, "All Russian men drink, do drugs, smoke cigarettes and do not respect Russian women!!"
She had proclamid her love for me after 1 month of corespondence and she wanted me to pay for her visa and tickets and some added cash to get threw customs witch I did, now that I had made a mistake I dont want anyone else to meake the same mistake.
This lady emailed me and wanted to get to know me better, after a few weeks wanted to come here to usa to meet me, she asked for $280 for visa. I told her I would not send money to her but that I would pay her back when she arrived here. She then told me that she would get the money from her mother and friends so after a week she writes again to ask for money again, this time it was for visa that she did not have it all. This lady was very encouraging to say the least, she seemed sincere but I was not fooled in believing that she could afford the airfare but not the visa which would have been much less. This lady is very good at what she does.
This lady kept sending me mail over 2 weeks and she started to ask money last week for traveling from Russia to visit me in the U.S. She said she had no money for the visa and I had to send her 192$ for that, I stupidly tried that in Westernunion and fortunately was cancelled at the last moment. She also said she loved me very much and would like to have a happy family and blabla. I suspected her because she was registered in the FriendsFinder from the address of California and as a golden member as well. I asked her twice to explain why she registered in the U.S and held the golden member, of course she never replied this question and continued to say she loved me or so. I am quite certain now she is a scammer.
Report N11 (added on April, 14, 2005)
Olya (Olga ?) contacted me.
After a few email letters she started to proclaim her feelings for me. She seemed very nice and honest and humble.
We talked about meeeting in Italy or somewhere like that. After more discussion and apparent feelings it seemed (to me) like a better idea for her to visit me in Canada. She speaks some english, I no Russian. I (foolishly) suggested I may be able to help her. After all her letters left me wanting to meet her too. She never asked for money directly. She then reported back that she met an old friend at the 'embassy' who could get her a passport in 5 days, and great deal on airline tickets. The total was $1700, she had $500 of her own, but would need $1200 from me. I told her I would have to start saving.
She told me she was a virgin, and wanted me to teach her sex.
She wanted a family. I told her I did not want any children but this just seemed to get ingored.
I did ask for her home address a while back. That has been ignored as well.
Now I see her picture here by the name Olga Belokorytova.

She contacted me, I rejected her. She kept on sending me mails every day with many photos. She never answered my questions, and in the end she wanted money for an air- ticket. I never invited her. She called her self Ekaterina in all mails, but in the final mail, when she asked for the money, she had changed her name to Larisa. She is by all means a classical scammer.
Report N13 (added on May, 7, 2005)
This person contacted me out of the blue answering my profile on the UA Dating site. Interestingly, there was no "introduction", just the first letter acting like we had already corresponded. It is the typical "money for visa and tickets scam". I was suspicious from the start, and I knew what was happening because I am a regular visitor to your site. I have attached all of the letters and photos "she" has sent to me.
Report N14 (added on May, 14, 2005)
I had a "relationship" with this lady for a couple of months before she wrote me the following letter. I do not know for SURE that she is a scammer because when I didnt send her money, she stopped emailing. I also know now that the only way for a Russian lady to come to the US for marriage is with a fiance visa, and I can only initiate that process after we have met in person!
"Hello my dear Steve!!! I live in the fog now. I love you most of all in this world and I am very happy that I can love again. I am crazy about you and I know that you are too. I miss you and it is very difficult for me to be apart from you. The idea that you are there and I am here makes me feel pain. You are my life now and you know it. I want to look into your deep eyes full of emotions, to touch you, to kiss you. I know that everything will work for us and we will be happy together. I often imagine our wonderful life together. I can feel you even on such big distance we have between each other. But I want to delete this distance. I want to be with you so much and I thought about the ways for us to be together. I wanted to do something for us and our happiness and I went to the Consulate as I wrote to check what I need to come to you. I had talk with the people there and I have known that I need to do some paperwork and get visa to come to you.
The visa I can get in easiest way is a tourist visa. I was told that I will be able to get it without any problems. It will take some time and I need to pick up many documents from my side. But I will do everything what depends on me. But I have one problem which upsets me very much. It is not convenient for me to ask you for help but I will not be able to do it without your help. You know, I need to pay for getting visa and doing all paperwork I need to come to you. And you know that my salary is too small for it. I have the great desire to come to you, to see you at last, but I will not be able to do it without your help. I do not want to complain but I do not want to lose you. I love you very much and I will not be able to go through it if I lose you. I do not know whom I can ask for help except you. You know that I am always honest and sincere with you. I hope that you will understand me and will help me to do this step. When I was in the Consulate I gave them some documents and they made a file for me. Now I need to pay them and they will begin my visa process. They gave me quotations for paperwork I need to do. So it will be 100$US for the visa and 30$ for registration. I also need to pay 80$ for foreign passport, 45$ for medical exam and 40 for interview and for some other expenses I can have. In general I will need about 300$US to cover all expenses. You know that I do not have such money and I can hope only on your help. Also I have known that there is Western Union office in our city and you can send the money using this bank system to my name.
I was told that it is the quickest and safest way of sending money. My full name is NEONILA MENZELINTSEVA. You also need to know my address.
My home address is Russian Federation, Artemovskiy, Mira street 19, apt 4. I have written about it. After you send the money you will need to send me your full name, exact home address, amount of money and Money Transfer Control Number(MTCN). I was told about it in the bank.
I will not be able to get the money without it. Honey, I will need to pay them during the week, so, please, try to send it as soon as possible. I really hope that you will understand my situation. I want to see you very much but I will not be able to do it without your help just because I don't have such money. I will understand if you do not want to help me but it will make me feel terrible pain that I will not be able to be with you. Sorry, dear, if it upsets you. I just think that we need to trust each other, to be honest and to share everything. I hope you are agree with me. I imagine that we can meet soon and I have tears of happiness on my eyes. I do not want that there were problems which can prevent us. But I can hope only on your help, dear. It will be the happiest moment of my life when I meet you, hold you. I love you so much. You are the best what I have in my life. I want to be with you more than anything. I miss you, dear and wait for your reply with big impatience. Your Neonila."

Report N18 (added on September, 6, 2005)
First contacted me in mid July out of the blue. Seemed nice enough. Never asked for money to begin with, but never answered any questions I asked her. Only after I metioned about me going to visit her did she change. Said that visiting her was risky because of where she lived (a fact actually confirmed by Russian consulate). I then suggested she come to England to visit me. At first she said no, but then a coulpe of days later she said ok and said she would find out the cost, which she did. I got suspicious when she mentioned "western union". So one morning I typed her name into the search and pressed go. I ended up on a site called "russian tea rooms". Guess how surprised I was to find a whole stack of information about this girl - none of it good. This wasn't the only site, I found numerous other sites telling the same story. I wrote to her and told her what I'd found out about her. She said it was all a mistakes, and that the pictures - although of her - were ones that had been stolen from her and were being used by someone else - possible I suppose. Anyway, we kept writing for a few days afterwards, but I've not heard from her since Aug 29th. I feel a bit sad by what I found out because I actually did like the girl - oh well, live and learn.
