Report N1

This person contacted me via an old Yahoo.com personals ad. After she asked me for money I did a search of her name on Google and found out she was a scam artist. Some of the things that she said in her emails were not correct so she arroused my suspicion right away. I did not lose any money to this person.

Scott (USA)

Report N2

I didn't give her money. She is about as dumb as they come too, as she never answers any of your questions and tells she loves you after the 3rd email. I suspected after the 3rd email and did a search on her.

Doc (USA)

Report N3

This person contacted me from an old yahoo profile.
I was suspicious right away because this has happened before. Actually she hasn't tried to scam me yet, as she hasn't asked for money yet, she's only sent me 2 emails, but she's moving very fast. I did a search on Stop Scammers and found the photos that she sent me that, by the way, look like she scanned them from a magazine. The name she is using with me is an alias, on this site she is listed under Anna Milchakova. I read the emails that she sent two other people who have already reported her and her first two letters are exact copies of what she has sent me, the girl, if she is a girl, isn't very bright. I thought I would play along with her for a while and have some fun with her, since I already know what she is going to write in her emails and have other photos of her that she has sent to other people, this could be a lot of fun!

Scott (USA)

Report N4

As with some of the earlier reports, "Olga" emailed me via a yahoo.com personals ad. She was moving so fast in her emails that I became suspicious. The two emails that I received are identical to others on this site.

Barry (USA)

Report N5

She had me fooled, until she inadvertintly changed the name of her friend's (Natasha) boyfriend. She had said not to send her any gifts, because "the postal system can't be trusted." This lead me to believe her, and ended up costing me $400.

Steven (USA)

Report N6

She answered my ad at yahoo personals with a return e-mail address. We sent each other e-mails. About e-mail #3 she starts telling me she loves me and wants my home address and phone#. I sent these to her (dumb)! Today she sends me an e-mail asking for 390 bucks. For visa to come be with me. I went to the state dept. web site for info on the price of a non-immigrant visa to the U.S. from Russia it was 100 dollars. This made me suspicious. Plus the fact that she did not answer a single question that I asked her about life in Russia, or her opinion of some columns by Molly Ivins, Will Durst, and a pair of "This Modern World" by Tom Tommorow cartoons I sent her. I did a google search for her name and, lo and behold, I wound up here! I read Doc's and Scott Kirby's letters. All exactly the same as I got. With the same pictures too! I'm just happy that I'm enough of a cynic not to have sent her (if that is really her) one red cent.

Bill (USA)

Report N7

This "girl" contacted me initially through Yahoo personals. The letters follow the exact same form as the others from Olga/Anna/Ekaterina.
None of the q's I asked were answered, but my request to check out my website was acknowledged and so were my photos. Very curtly ("your cats are fine."), and added at the beginning of the form letter. She asked for $390.00 in the seventh or so e-mail, and I knew for sure it was a scam and told "her" so. I have received no further e-mails. I reported her to Yahoo, but I don't know there is anything they can do. I Googled her and found many instances of her scam.

Eric (USA)

Report N8

This woman tried to scam me for the $390 visa. She even sent me a nude photo asking for trust. Said she loved me after a week of talking and after I refused the visa, she has tapered off her responses. She actually called me for a minute acting like she can't understand me. She is starving for money. Alot of the letters submitted are actually verbatum to those I received. Let us hope they get what is deserved.

Michael (USA)

Report N9

I'm a slower learner, cost me $422 to learn.

George Rios (USA)

Report N10

She is up to the same old stuff only with different basic information. Updated names for her, her friends and family. she still loves you way too soon, wants to come marry you, and askes for $390 for visa and medical expense to obtain a B-2 visa. Check out all of her AKA's. She is a busy woman.

"Hello, Honey!
I am Elena. Your profile seems be interesting to me and mine will interest you ;)
Since now you are in my mystery;-)! You can make sure of it after looking at my photos;-). You will see a charming pretty woman with magnetic magical eyes. I could become a queen of your heart but just and tender queen;-). Sometimes i can be masterful and then i am a hurricane of passions that allure everything that is around me; and sometimes i am like a tender purring kitten whose only desire is to please it's master:-). Could you manage to be next such an "explosive" woman like me? I would be glad to know you better and as closer as it can be possible. I am a woman that do not accept any compromises although sometimes it can hurt me. I love this world full of contrasts and entertainments but I dream to find the only man who could accept me what I am with all my merits and demerits. I am so lonely in this life as there is no man who could respect and understand my soul first of all and value me as a person. I know i can give happiness to the man i will love if he values and cares for me!
If you are ready to fall into a fairy tale then just look at my profile and answer back to me:-) Do you have enough courage to possess such a priceless Diamond like me?
Elena"

My letters from this person are virtually verbatim the same as the ones posted by others here. I have been sent all of the photos that are shown here, as well. Requests for money have been very vague, but have specified the $390 for the B-2 visa, and have hinted at $1431 for round-trip airfare, as well. I have not sent any money, and now that I have seen the information posted here, you can be sure that I will not.

This person first wrote to me at yahoo Personals, and I asked for her pic. She sent me her other adddress and we were wrting back and forth for about 2 weeks. This morning she calls me up and asked me for $400.00 for her visa papers. I was suspicious, and went to a site some one told me about scammers. I read about her in a forum, and contacted a person who was almost scammed by her. I hope this person can be stopped before she robs someone.

I am writing to inform the family members of the men involved with this woman. I got supiscious after 3 email correspondences with my father. I am still reading what she has to say and will play her game accordingly. Hasn't talked about love or money yet. My father has only gotten her address so far. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS ONE!!! She is very clever. Her best friend is Natasha who dates Frank and they work as waitresses in a bar.

Report N22 (added on May, 7, 2005)

Irina who is Anna, had contacted me on yahoo personals in order to start a relationship with me. We corresponded for several weeks by e-mail, and all of sudden she is in love with me and wants me to send her money for a visa to come to America. She told me not to send her any gifts because of postal problems in the past. I am concider a good looking man, but this damn women moves way too quick. I had women move quick on me in the real world, but nothing like this dumb women. This idiot must think I am stupid to this kind of manipulation by her. Wants to get married, make love all the time, have childeren, have a white picked fence marriage, but something had told me that something was very wrong in the way she corresponded with me in not answering some of my questions. Luckily I did not send this dumb cluck any money. Even thou Anna said she only makes small amount of money in the cafe she works at in Kazan. Anna has a very deceiving look about her, especially in her smile and eyes, and I just kept on corresponding with her to see what else Anna will do. I have saved over thirty of her e-mails and have several photos of her, and compounding more to use against her, if needed. I will send them to you if needed.

She originaly contacted me. Asked her what site she found me on, but didn't reply. After a while, she said she was in love with me and wanted to come to the US. I sent her money for a visa and she replied that she needed the airline ticket to get the visa. When I told her I would purchase the ticket in the US, She said that the ticket ouldn't be good unless it was purchased in Russia. I have not sent her money for that.

Claims instant attaction, she is working as a waitress, wants my full name and address, doesn't trust postal service, sez they steal everything locally. Has friend Natasha with German boy friend. Rarely answers questions, more like canned messages talking about her life and friends. Sends a picture with every email, I have 4 different pictures, I see one on this website under differnet name.

Contacted me via Yahoo personals. I sent a short reply asking for a picture, and got a long generic email, with lots of red flags in it.

Had the usual bad english, story about the abusive boyfriend, etc etc.
Used a pre-generated letter. Found same letter on this site.

This one found my active profile in Yahoo Personals. The message came with no photo or profile attached. Not sure how you can do that on Yahoo Personals, but obviously it can be done.

Have been playing the game with her for 5 emails now. I have found those first 5 already posted here and expect #6 will follow the pattern. I don't believe who ever is doing this even reads the emails we send.

Marina Osenkova found me on Yahoo profiles. I wanted her to come to this country. She said she $390. to file for visa and passport. Then $1400. for airfare.I sent that but now she asks for $2700.($30.per day for 3 month visa) I figured that I was being scammed.

I have received several e-mails from her, as the others reporting here in the e-mails are duplications of ones others have received. She has not solicited me for funds yet, but She was getting ready to. I was very suspicious as she never answered my questions. I was not harmed by her. I can not understand why she has neen allowed to continue knowing all these details about her.
