She contacted me about 2 weeks ago on Singles Net.

Thank god for sites like yours! I believe my bachelor's degree in Psychology and Communications from A.S.U. finally paid off on this one. Of course I'd have to be an idiot to send even $5.00 to someone whom I've only talked to several times over the Internet, but $975.00! Then suppossedly when she ("Irina") gets here she'll pay me back? I may be french but I'm not naive.
I surely hope all of this information I acquired helps your cause. I dragged out the conversations to see how far she would go. Hopefully now you will have enough information to help others out there that aren't as quick to the take, and would be gullible enough to follow through with the transactions. Contact me in the future if you need any other help tracking down these "wanna be" scammers. Fortunately, I look about 19 years old, but I'm actually 30. People always seem to think I'm an easy target to take advantage of, and this girl has got a lot to learn if she thinks she is going to ever be any kind of Con-Woman! Just like we've all been taught through the years, you can't judge a book by it's cover, and do not trust just anyone.

Thanks again for being a good lookout source for the rest of the world. :-)

Report N7 (added on October, 26, 2007)

She contacted me via LavalifePrime either directly or in respose to a message I sent her to her profile. Her profile was already removed by the time she replied to my message so although I still have the message I sent and her response I do not remember what her screen name was. She provided her yahoo e-mail address and from then on we wrote back and forth several times from Sept 21 - today Oct 23. I really started getting suspicious when she started saying she was coming to be with me here in Canada and how much it would cost and how she needed my help. She kept giving me different names and variations on the name and the address wasn't clear. I was going to send flowers using a paid service to verify she was real but when I finally got the e-mail with her correct spelling of her surname and the banking info and did a serch I found her name all over the internet in several blacklists. The other sites did not have the same photo as you do. Yours matches the ones she sent me exactly, so if you need more photos of her or copies of the e-mails write me at my e-mail address and I will be more than happy to provide them to you.
