Report N1 (added on October, 10, 2008)

Was first contacted by this lady 16th Sept 2008 on the above website. Her name is SandyPearls. Her initial contact was a message giving me her yahoo address. We started communicating and I was quite taken by her e-mails. They became more and more affectionate. We emailed most days and also chatted on Yahoo Messenger. I decided to book a flight to Chicago to see her. During booking the flight they asked where I was staying in Chicago. She had offered to put me up while I was there. She gave the above postal address via messenger. For some reason at this time I was becoming a bit wary and tried to send a gift to her address. The company phoned me to say they could not deliver it as there was no one home and did I have a telephone number? I tried to get her telephone number she somehow avoided the question. The following day she emailed me to say she had been called to West Africa to pick up monies owed to her late father some 10 years back. I was becoming even more concerned at this point that she was a scammer but there was always this reluctance to believe it. We had a discussion on messenger on why certain things didnt add and she managed to convince me that she was real and declared her undying love for me. The following day she emailed me to say she had arrived safely in Africa and she would see the people at the bank in the morning. The following afternoon she emailed me to say that everything was going well and there was just one more man to see before a sum of 1.8m USD would be transferred to her account. She also emailed me a copy of an e-ticket from West Africa to London as we had talked about us meeting. The document just didnt look real and after googlng the flight number I came across your site and search on scam letters and the first phrase I put in from one of her emails came up trumps and from that moment I was convinced. Thank you for that! The following day I had an email saying there was a problem and the bank needed a 5000$ processing fee and she only had $4150 so she then asked if I could forward the balance. At the time of reading the email she was online and I basically told her what I knew and the game was up! I can include the chat from this but Im not sure how I do it. Will you email for these things? I cant see how to upload documents. Funny things is as I write to you which is in the evening of the confrontation another female from Chicago using a newly created account has just messaged me giving her email address. Same person? I dont know there seem to be different pictures. but I think Im going to see.

She contacted me on forgotten dating site, maybe matchdoctor, we correspondent for several weeks. Eventually she needed $200 to complete her flight fare. She sent me her passport.. I sent it to the Nigeria USA Embassy to verify if valid. I was told it was invalid. She insited it was good. Almost sent her $200 until I saw her picture on your web site as Sandra Gregory-Very similar face. Hard to believe it but its samee picture.
