Report N1 (added on September, 4, 2009)

Having exchanged 3 letters we started communication over the telephone. She proposed to arrange a meeting in late August or September because she would have her vacation then. I fell in her trap because I tested her by asking her (more than once) whether she would like to meet me in Kiev or in Athens. She was equally willing to meet me either in Kiev or in Athens, she said she wouldn’t mind. So I chose Athens, being more convenient for me. I thought it would save me the hotel expenses (mine and hers) plus my lost time (and money) in case she either wouldn't turn up or loose interest and leave me.

On the phone she told me that she didn’t have a passport and that she needed 200 USD to get a passport and a visa - 150 for passport and 50 for the visa. I checked with the Hellenic consulate in Odessa and confirmed the visa cost, i.e. 35 euro (=50 USD). I sent her the money (200 USD) through Western Union on 12 Aug 2009 (MTCN: 6765777806). Right after I sent the amount she turned up and asked for another 250 USD to cover the expenses for the visa’s paper work and 100 USD for her trip to the Hellenic consulate in Odessa to apply for the visa – i.e. another 350 USD! (see letters) Note that the distance Nikolaev - Odessa is only 150km aprox. so in no way such a journey could cost 100 USD in Ukraine! Then I refused and ask her to send me a scanned copy of her new passport, which, of course, she never did.

I tried to report the scam to the cuteonly web site, but it seems there is no way I can contact their support team.
