Report N1 (added on April, 30, 2010)

She contacted me through a dating website. After a few emails she declared her undying love for me, despite the fact that she knew little about me. However, I stayed in contact with her seeing how things would develop. At one time she sent me an email in French. I had it translated on the Internet and it was almost an exact copy of an email she had sent to me a few weeks before. When I asked her why she was now writing to me in French, she made some feeble excuse and continued to say how much she loved me and wanted to be with me.
After a few weeks she asked me to send her 700 Euros, saying she needed 770 Euros for a ticket and a visa and she would borrow the remaining 70 Euros from her Mother! I knew there is little chance for a Russian girl being allowed a U.K. visa for such a trip, but asked her to send me a copy of passport that my bank needed for security. She quickly sent a copy and then complained when I did not send her any money.
She says she is sending emails from an Internet cafe, and this is her first time she has used the Internet. But her email headers always hide her true I.P. address. First they came from Holland and later from Germany. She also sent mail at odd times - not consistent with someone using an Internet cafe.
I have pictures of her, a copy of her passport and copies of her emails including the one that she asks for money, which I will gladly forward to you to stop others being scammed.
