Is being a scammer a popular hobby amongst people in Russia?

I think there is certainly a part of the population that is literally doing it to make a living and put food on the table. Part of me thinks thats why some get so good at it, desperation leads to eventual success. That certainly doesn't make it right, but I think it is the reality of the situation. I don't think it is a hobby for anyone, at least I hope not, that would be kind of twisted! But you never know...

Probably 30% of the young Russian women are interested in this top job, some don`t find a job, others are bored or too high due to vodka
Anyhow, Russian scammers are quite numerous, so it has to be pleasure and necessity
