rBrides.com
I thought I would start this thread because I joined rBrides.com and almost everyone that I have contacted via their site, or have contacted me themselves, have been scammers. I don't see how such rampant activity could be going on there without the complicity of their admins.
I had this huge list of women that I was going to see on a trip to the Ukraine next summer, well I was going to narrow the field down anyway, but now EVERYONE save three or four, has turned up here. The first few were a shock, now I have come to expect it. It's turning into a detective game now and when I discover their REAL identity I send it to them.
It pisses me off man. I thought I could do things myself without having to go through though those bloodsuckers "Anastasia". But it looks like they are the only people I can really trust at this point. In any event, I will be posting a couple of dozen addendums to the exsisting database in the next week or so.
If you have had any dealings with rbrides.com I'd be curious to hear about it.
Seeya,
Swazzie

my opinion of Rbrides,it is a hwy for these criminals to peddle thier crimes and it would not suprise me if rbrides are involved in this

I have registered on rBrides (luckily only for 1 month) and I agree with you that at least 95% of the female members are scammers. The first one that contacted me sent her endless love already in the second letter (not even visiting my profile page). When she started talking about a meeting I reply that I would liked to visits her in her country.
She stopped writing.
Later I found her in another forum were they have info on Russian Scammers
Out of curiosity I tried to trace back the origin of the emails sent by rBrides and the IP returns a location in Michigan (USA), so I really wonder who are the people running this dating site.
Cheers, Lerat.

I sent this message to rBrides today. I will keep you posted:
"So far I have identified FIFTEEN known scammers
operating off of your site. And those are just the
ones who have contacted me. There are many others who
I recognize from doing so many background checks. At
least one uses a photo of a known porn actress. The
people I have identified as scammers (Some with
multiple, multiple profiles on your site under
different names) I have informed that they turned-up
as known scammers in my background checks of them and
not to contact me again. The most recent, sent me a
picture with a smile flipping me off entitled
"specially_for_you.jpg". So my question to you is: If
I provide evidence that you have so many known
scammers operating off of your site will you 1.)
Delete their profiles? and 2.) Are you willing to
issue a full or partial refund for the time I have
invested in identifying scammers on your site? I am
saving this message to you and your reply (if any) for
deposit on the scammer database. If you do not reply,
I will report that. If you just delete my profile I
will report that. I am extremely curious to see how
you handle this. DATED: 01-05-08 to rbrides helpdesk."

HEY LERAT! LOOKS LIKE THESE GUYS MIGHT BE OPERATING OUT OF ARIZONA. IF ANYONE WITH BETTER WHOIS/LOOKUP SKILLS WANTS TO GO FURTHER I'D APPRECIATE IT. I'M GOING TO CALL THEM ON MONDAY AND ASK FOR MY MONEY BACK. IF NOT, AND I CAN VERIFY THEY ARE AN ARIZONA BUSINESS, I AM GOING TO CONTACT THE ARIZONA ATTORNEY GENERAL. (sorry for the caps)

I went to domainsbyproxy.com and they had these links about IF YOU ARE LAW ENFORCEMENT CLICK HERE, and FOR SOPOENA INFRMATION CLICK HERE.
To have them do their "research" costs a minimum of 75 bucks an hour. Then they will probibly bill you for a couple of hours. And unless you can prove the matter is an "emergency" it gives rBrides the opportunity to quash the sopoena, thus preserving their anonymity to continue to scam! So just the way it is worded is a deterrent to contact the rBrides assholes to get your money back (which you wouldn't get anyway). In my oppinion, domainsbyproxy is just a front for scammers to hide behind.
These assholes are OBVIOSLY criminals. Otherwise why would thet have **** like this:

According to the Arizona Attorney Genernal's website:
( http://www.azag.gov/consumer/ ) rbrides and its' front company meet the definitition of consumer fraud. I am obviously not going to spend hundreds of bucks just to get 30 back. However, it is my hope that the good people of Stop-Scammers.com will take a hard look at the information I have uncovered and place rBrides on the same blacklist as the fake "translation agencies" and fake "tourist firms". (NOTE: after checking the site I could not find any lists as such so I will start a thread with at least one "translation service" called easy speech) Or at least place this information in their newsletter.
==================================================
Consumer fraud, as defined by Arizona law, is any deception, false statement, false pretense, false promise or misrepresentation made by a seller or advertiser of merchandise. In addition, concealment, suppression or failure to disclose a material fact may be consumer fraud if it is done with the intent that others rely on such concealment, suppression or nondisclosure. Merchandise may include any objects, wares, goods, commodities, intangibles, real estate or services.

Hi Swazzie,
I understand how you feel and I am sorry about that.
I guess there is nothing to do rather than prevent future usage as much as possible.
I live in Western Europe and I have come across various of these dating sites, specialized on Eastern Europe countries, with a nice, pretty and professional presentation and a cheap registration fee. It looks like many of them are based and operate from the US.
Apparently speculating on peoples? emotions has become a lucrative business.
I agree on your black list of sites that allow scammers to present.
Cheers, Lerat.

Is this the guy? Or did I take a wrong turn? Someone is being hidden and protected, and the connect-the-dots leads to this guy. I want to hear critiques and suggestions on how to unmask this web of liars.

Hey guys! Intereseting little thread you have. RBrides and Site2Date are nothing new and are discussed in several other forum threads, although, swazzie has done a bit more digging than anyone else has bothered to.
As far as getting scammer profiles removed... Hahahahahahahahaha!!! Check out "Liliya Ahmadulina" in the scam reports area. It took 3 or 4 letters to the RBrides admin to get her off there, and that only lasted a few days before she was back with a new name and city.
The scammers go from one site to the other regularly changing their info. Sometimes you can even find the same girl on both sites with different info, or in the case of "Liliya Ahmadulina", she had two profiles running on RBrides at the same time using different info!
