Letter 1
Hi Dear, Good morning, and how is your day? I really appreciate your efforts in responding to my mail. I have a special reason why I decided to contact you because of the urgency of my situation over here. Actually, I don't know you very well nor have a previous correspondence but, I keep having a strong feelings that you will come to my aid. I choose to tell you all about my life because I don't have any other option than to tell you this after going through your profile. I want to build my trust in you if you promise not to betrayed my trust. Though distance is far, but I believe that, love is a bridge that connect far distance to be closer. I know this mail will come to you as a surprise, please bear with me. I am writing this with tears and sorrow. My name is Millicent Joseph Garang. Friends call me Mimi. I am 22 years old girl from Juba, Republic of South Sudan, East Africa. I am 5.6ft tall, fair in complexion, single never married. My late Father, Dr. Joseph Garang Lagu was an Assistant Minister of Petroleum South Sudan. My mother was a midwife before my family was wiped off by rebels at the on going political war crisis in my Country. The tragic war which claim my parents' life and my 2 younger once and now leaving me as an orphan. Presently, I am residing in the refugee camp, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Dakar Senegal, where I am seeking my political asylum as a refugee. Many members of my family died, and others ran away to unknown destinations as a result of the Political/religious war crisis that is still on in my Country. This is a hard decision for me to take because, I don't know you very well but, I choose to tell you this as my mind keep telling me to contact you. Before the death of my Father, he deposited some amount of money in one of the leading Banks in Europe on my name as the next of kin. The amount in question is US$3.7M (Three Million Seven Hundred Thousand United States Dollars). I wanted to transfer this money by myself to start a better life but, my status as a refugee could not allowed me to process the transfer by myself. According to the response from my late Father's Bank, it is against banking rules for a refugee to participate in any financial matters. They told me, the only alternative is to bring a representative/trustee who will stand for me for this claim. This is the reason why I am contacting you to help me transfer this money to your account and also help me invest and manage the money in a good profitable business in your Country while I go back to school to complete my studies as I was in my first year in University before this crisis started in my life. Immediately after the transfer, you will send some money for me to get my traveling documents and air ticket to come over to meet you in your Country and start a better life. I have mapped out 20% out of the total money for you after the transfer and the remaining will be for my business investment which you will also help me as well. I am writing to know your willingness and sincerity to handle this transaction. I really need a trust worthy and honest person that will not betrayed me. Can I trust you? I kept this as a top secret to people here in the camp for security reasons. The only person that knows about it is the Reverend Jerry James that is in charge of the camp because, I told him a little about this and he allowed me to access my mail in his office computer when there is a chance. I will also like you to be confidential and don't disclose this to anyone because, I am afraid of loosing my life and the money, if people get to know about it. Remember I am giving you all this information due to the confidence I have in you. I cherish sincerity, honesty, understanding, and a person of vision and hardworking. Please, if you are really sincere and willing to help me out, as soon as you receive this mail, you respond back to me so that, I will give you the information of the Bank for you to contact them to confirm the account first and find out the possibility of transferring the money to your account. I don't have phone of my own here in the camp but, you can call me through the phone number of the care taker of the camp, Reverend Jerry James+221765432477. When you call, tell him you want to speak with Millicent (Mimi) Joseph from South Sudan, he will send for me because, I am staying in camp female hostel. The attached are my photos. Expecting your response soonest. Have a lovely day. Yours sincerely,
Millicent Joseph.

You said, you are a bit confused, that is why asking a confusing question. Is it the cost of your documents is fake or the documents you are seeking for is fake? I want to bring to your knowledge that, the documents your are seeking for is not an ordinary documents. This documents will only be obtained and legalized from a Federal High Court of a Country, and accepted in another Country. The processing takes a lot of time and money from one office to another before it can be legalized and accepted. The affidevits of oath will prove to the Bank that, the Millicent Joseph is the true next of kin to late Dr. Joseph Garang Lagu's account. It must be endoursed by a Lawyer. The power of athoney will also prove that, the next of kin (Millicent Joseph) gave you power to stand as the beneficiary (third party) to the account. With this power of athoney, bank will now make the change of ownership to your name before the money can be transfer to your custody. It must also be process and sign by a Lawyer. With my legal experience, Bank can not make a transfer without this compulsory documents. After this 2 documents, you will also prove to the Bank that, Dr. Joseph Garang Lagu is late by providing a death certificate from a hospital where he died. All you have to do is to look for the money demanded so that, I will commence the processing immediately. I will legally assist you on this assign till the money is being transferred to your account. --

Hello my Dearest, Good morning and how are you today? I am so excited to receive your mail now with the understanding that the Lawyer has accepted to provide the legal documents for us, to enable us achieve our goal. You have being a wonderful man to my life. I am very lucky having you by my side. I am hoping and longing more than anything to meet you in person as soon as possible, to show you all the appreciation with the love of my heart.

Though I am happy but, I am a bit worried based on the request of the Lawyer for this amount of US$750.00, before getting the documents for us. I am very much afraid because, you know that, I do not have the money at hand and I have no way to get it here in the refugee camp. That is why I want my late Father's money to be transferred into your account so that, immediately after the transfer, you will send me money from there for any expenses that may come up and also for my traveling expenses, to have my freedom and to meet you over there and start a new life also continue my education. Dear, because I have been crying every middle of the night because of what I am passing through here in this refugee camp while I have a huge amount of money in the Bank and can not operate on it because, I am in a refugee camp and an asylum seeker. This is why I want to leave this refugee camp before I will die in here. I want you to listen to me with all your heart. I have never thought of stressing you with the issue of money in this matter, but as you can see now we can not get the money being transferred to your account without those legal documents requested by the Bank. As the Lawyer required this money to enable him to get the High Court Authorizing stamp duties and registrations on the documents before it will be accepted by any organization and he can not get it without this US$750.00, so we have no option than to send the money to the Lawyer.

Since you already know that I have no money at hand and I don't have any other person than you, I plead with all my heart, that you should do your best and send this US$750.00 to the lawyer as he requested so that, he will start processing those documents immediately as he promised it will be ready within 2 working days. Please my Dear, you know that now Bank is waiting for those legal documents so that they will commence the transfer to your account immediately. You also know that we have no time to waste than to send the money to the Lawyer as soon as possible, to enable us get those documents needed for this transfer.

I know that we never expected this, I know also that, it is not going to be easy for you, but remember that we are expecting greater things that is going to make our future more brighter and comfortable. I want you to know that you will be the one that will invest and manage this money in a good profitable business in your Country while I go back to school to complete my studies.

I don't know what else to say, but my heart is heavy with fear and worries of what your reaction will be towards this last chance to my freedom. I will be waiting for your response with all my love. Sincerely yours,
Millicent.
Letter 12
Good morning Dear, Thanks for your mail. As I told you before, it is not my intention to ask you anything about money for this issue. I have never kept quiet since ever I received the demand of the Lawyer before getting this documents for us regarding this transfer. It has been keeping me sleepless night and crying every minutes of the day on how to meet up with the demand of the Lawyer. As you said, I have told the care taker of the camp, Rev Jerry James about the situation of things, and he called the Lawyer and they talked about this situation regarding this amount he requested. He tried to persuade the Lawyer for a favor but, the Lawyer insist sayaing, there is nothing he can do about this, he has given a break down on how the money will be spend in different offices in Senegal High Court of Justice before those documents can be legalized and accepted in any organization. Rev James has promised to assist us with $300 out of the money Lawyer is demanding. I am very happy for his concern and he explained that, he is just a Minister of the Gospel, he don't receive monthly salary based on free will donation of the good citizen of this Country. Dear, the money is now remaining $450 to complete the amount Lawyer is demanding to process those legal documents. I am very happy for this development. Please, this is the time I need you most now Bank want to make this transfer to your account. I don't want you to abandoned me here, especially now at poit of my freedom. I want you to try all you could for this remaining balance so that, Lawyer will start up the processing of those documents immediately the money is completed. I know it will be so hard for you but, no mather how difficult it seems to be now. I know after rain, there must be a sun shine. Waiting for your mail soonest. Have a wonderful moment. Sincerely yours,
Mimi.
