I initiated contact on Match and lasted about one week. The dead give away was that the first email received from her was almost word for word copied starting with her morning horoscope. Her Match profile disappeared soon after our emails started.

Curious that first impressions remains for a long time. Jack I read your profile (match.com) and you have my interest. I am quite pleased that you review my profile too and then contact me. I think at my age those days of game playing and false stories have been gone for quite some time now.
I would like to know more about you and what you are seeking. Everyone who is on an dating site is usually there for a specific reason, some may be looking for e-mail buddies, some may be looking on for a soul mate, some may be looking just for ***, etc. Hope that you are serious in your quest.
