Report N1 (added on April, 26, 2006)

Initiated contact through Yahoo Personals. Claims to be a doctor and it coming to the United States on a cultural exchange program. Sends long and detailed letters and even called me twice. Later writes that all she is lacking for the cultural exchange trip is plane fare and asks for "loan" of $950 USD to be repaid with money she will earn in US as exchange doctor. I ask for "Transfer Receipt number" which is used by the US Department of State to track applications for cultural visas, and all other visa information she has. I tell her that I will try and help her get funding for her trip through the World Health Organization via contact I have with former member of WHO. Never heard back from her.

Report N2 (added on September, 29, 2006)

She informed me that she was a doctor that was coming to the USA to study. She talked of love and mariage. Then the bird flew had taken away the money for her ticket and she needed $1000.00. I offered to pay for her ticket, but she refused stating that she had to pay cash to the angency. I asked for profe of the program. She said that money should not prevent our happiness. She quit replying and her email address did not work any more.
