Scam REPORT(S)

REPORT N1 (added on June, 9, 2006)
Troy (USA)

"Olga" is listed on yahoo personals. She is listed under Leipsic, DE / Philadelphia, PA, her age is 27.
REPORT N2 (added on April, 3, 2019)
Don (USA)

I have been in contact with a person calling themselves Olga. "Olga" listed herself on Yahoo Personals as being in our town. Since we are small community and "Olga" listed herself as a single Catholic women 27 years of age living in the community she came to our attention pretty quickly. The Catholic community here is very close and a person claiming to live here that no body knows drew attention. So using a yahoo account I contacted her. I have had several emails exchanged with her and she seems to be building up to asking for money or trying a Visa fraud scam. So far she has sent me exact duplicates of the letters she sent "Troy." I am also in contact with her via a second email address and again she is sending the same letters, just simply changing the name. At this time since she has not committed a crime there is nothing we can do. Since she is a foreign national there is really nothing we can do law enforcement wise but keep in contact with her and try to warn others about her once we have a full picture of what her con game is.
I would like to thank you for you dedication to making people aware of "scammers" like this. Since we are such a small community we have limited resources and we have a harder time letting our citizens know about internet con artist like her. Actually for a while I was not sure if she was actually trying to pull a con. When I first contacted her on the net you did not have her listed. Also she seemed to be reading at least some of the letters I was sending her and putting in just enough of response to make it seem like she was reading my whole letter. However when asked specific questions she did not respond. It took several attempts for her to give me a mailing address. As yet she has not given me a name. After months I tried researching for her again by email and found her on your site. Then I tried contacting her via a second email address, she fell for this and again started sending duplicate letters with slight changes. Hopefully you have more information on what her con/scam is. So far to date she hasn’t asked for any money. But keeps saying she is in a hurry to get a Visa and come here to the United States. So we are going to play along and see what happens. If you have any information on her scam please send it to us. We want to inform our citizens of what this person is up too. Right now we don’t know how many people in the area she is in contact with. We keep waiting for her to "set the hook" so we can identify what type of scam she is running. We have a regional FBI office across town and if she does actually try to follow through with her scam we can start getting them more involved. But right now I have really nothing to go on except she is sending duplicate emails to men, just simply changing the name.
