Elmira and I communicated for about a month, and she came across as serious and honest. She sent me several pictures, all appear to be "genuine" but who knows given what I know now. She fell in love with me, according to her letters, and I suggested meeting - tried to arrange a meeting in Russia (as I am cautious), but she would have nothing to do with it - she insisted it was better is she visited me in US because she could easily take a long vacation where I could not. She said she spoke with a Travel Agent and was arranging everything - and then suddenly she was out of money and needed my help for the remaining "contracted" amount to the agent. Throughout the process, I mentioned the US Embassy rules for obtaining a Visa, but she ignored those comments, and said she had already been given a Visa - so at this point, I asked to see her Visa before I would send her any money. The Visa she sent me was an obvious fake... I told her, and she was upset in a letter back, saying I offended her and that she had done nothing wrong... I replied again, telling her the Visa was fake - and since then I have not heard back.
