Report N1 (added on December, 5, 2006)

I have been in contact with this person for the last month. She has claimed to be in love with me after only a few letters. She has told me she has a month off from work this holiday season. She has told me it would cost her 1400.00 to get here. But she only has 600.00 So she needs 800.00. She never answers questions in detail. And most the time not at all. She is brief with emails sent. No details of her work or where she works. I offered to charge the 800.00 to the Travel agency she claims to be working with. She has given no info on this agency at all. The last letter she claims that she has talked with her agent.I have his mailing address in the last email. She said to Western Union the 800.00 to Him because her passport is in Moscow. This is were the red flag went up. Now dont you need a form of ID at all times no matter where your at? It feels like a big scam to me. Basically there is no proof of her consulting with an agency for travel and cash is being requested.

Typical visa/ticket scam - Many pre-written copy/paste letters finally ending in love and needs to travel to America no matter the costs. But in the end, money is needed to be sent by Western Union.

Report N3 (added on December, 29, 2007)

The usual story, after 3-4 letters she asked me for money to buy a mobile phone.
I didn't answer so she never wrote me again.
