Well, how nice, somewhere to tell my story and maybe keep someone else from making the same mistake. This started about 3 months ago. I was invited to a wedding and the bride was from Russia. There was also another couple and the wife was contacted threw a marriage agency in Russia. It was an eye opening experience for me. I had used Kiss.com and a few other Internet sites to contact women in the USA. I now was going to try and contact women from Russia in the same way. It worked. I started with about 8 women. All were very nice. Three fell in love way to fast and I stopped writing to them. 3 more asked for "help" financially to support the Internet expense and I stopped writing to them.. One, I am still writing letters to but don't feel we have much in common and I don't see a relationship developing. Finally, Natasha was the one who got money from me. The Western Union address I sent the money to was: Natasha Samoilova
Now I am not ******. It was easy to see the others were interested in money. But Natasha was very good. She complained about the expense of the Internet but waited for me to offer to send money. I was very close to buying a ticket to go and visit her. Fortunately, I waited to purchase the ticket. I only sent her $100US so it is not that much money. Being fooled is the hard part. I look back at her letters and still can't see where the insincerity was. That is what scares me the most. The last letter I received from her said she was looking forward to my trip, wished I could stay for 10 days instead of 4, and the money I sent her would help finance our correspondence. I try and make myself feel better by telling myself that she used the money to feed her child, but in reality, Natasha could have been a 60 year old man using the picture of a woman. If that is the case, I hope there is a God and he rots in ****.
All is not lost. I am still writing to a nice lady. Hasn't mentioned money or expense. Unfortunately, for me I am not attracted to her.
I hope this helps someone. When you start to feel that you can trust someone who hasn't proved she deserves it. Think twice, three times or four times.
