After her first aproach and several photographs sent. She told me she wanted to come and visit me. The next day I got an email from a travel agency (Siberia Travel) with the total cost of the trip, providing no itinerary or dates for the trip to take place. They where asking close to $1,000 usd. when I told them that I had seen their agency name on a black list site they stop buging me for money. then this is what 'Anastasia' wrote me that it is not possible for her to get a visa to my country by herself, as there are a lot of refusals for young unmarried girls from Russia who has no children or any other strong ties with Russia.
I was lucky to confont her and after that never hear from her again. She is just trying to find a fool that is willing to give his money away. I think that this scams are orquestrated by the travel agency itself.

A week and half ago I recieved an email from a member of OtherSingles. Julia's profile claimed she was from Riga Latvia. As a general rule of thumb I ignore emails from Russian ladies. However I spent a Summer in Talin, Estonia so I emailed Julia back. Last Tuesday I recieved a very long email with a picture that peaked my interest from "Yuliya". The email claimed that she lived in Orenburg, Russia, not Riga as on the profile. The picture was of a female with staright blonde hair and not brown and curly as in the profile. At any rate I decided to send a return e-mail. After a few days "red flags" began going off. (1) I wondered how a person with four years of enlglish training could write such a long email. (2) Why the profile and the email details did not match up. So in my free time I began investigating and found yours and other web sites. I have not found the picture sent to me but the email compares favorably to a number of emails on your web site that have been sent by scammers. I have not heard back from "Yuliya"
