Scam REPORT(S)
REPORT N1
James (USA)
I am a 51 year old divorced male without children in the USA. I was scammed once (in March to early May) and since have reported other scammers that have contacted me. I was contacted by this scammer through AmericanSingles.com on June 10. After I responded she got back to me on June 16. Letters were exchanged from then to the present. As an experiment I actually responded twice and ran two sets of letters simultaneously as two different people from different places and using different e-mail addresses. I had 2 different scenarios going with different questions and comments in each to see how the same scammer responded. Of course I got virtually identical letters, except for answers to some specific questions. She responded 5 days a week Monday through Friday. It took several weeks of lengthy letters with high sounding, mostly meaningless (and boring) broken prose and poetry to finally get to the money request.
She did respond to a number of questions in the beginning, then less so.
After the first two letters she didn't even bother to use my name(s) in her letters at all, until I made a big deal about it as one of my personas (Robert). Only then in the responses to those letters did she reluctantly tack my name in. After a long time with no more photos being sent I finally managed to get a couple more photos from her (I had to ask several times). Before that here had been only two that came with the first two letters. At first she claimed she was going to pay for everything to get here. She claimed she had gotten her visa but didn't realize the plane tickets would cost so much and was short about $500. She seemed reluctant to ask for the money and said that maybe I will can come to her earlier...
she very much wanted it - otherwise she would just have to wait (hint, hint). When I offered to cover the difference (as Robert) she made a big point about not taking my money but just borrowing it (ya, right!) and I got the whole send cash by Western Union routine. The address she gave for herself was claimed to be not current but an old address that appears on her passport. On the other set of letters when I took her up on coming to see her I got no response back until after a few days I asked if she would prefer to come here if I payed to help her - Then she responded. What is shown here are the letters responding to me as Robert which gives more information that is pertinent. Correspondence is continuing but I suspect will fissile out quickly when they don't see the cash they want. (I have offered, hypothetically, to pay only by credit card to the airline or agency involved.)
REPORT N2
Mark (UK)
Was approached by this girl who initialy called her self Limerina at Date. After a week of letters, she told me she was moving back to Rovno Ukraine.
I smelt at rat and contacted date.com, she was investigated and removed imediately from their site. Also caught her out by using another email address posing as another admirer. She replied using almost identical letters which I had recieved previously under mt other handle another name.
REPORT N3
Ted (USA)
I met 'Olena' on americansingles.com and was sent the exact same letters that 'Robert' posted from her. All she did was cut and paste my name into them.
I tried to send her $500 to help with the plane tickets via Western Union Online. Western Union (WU) had me call and talk to a live person before they would send the money. Their representative informed me that just that morning there had been more than 10 other money wire transfers to 'Olena' and asked if I wanted to send the money. Of course, I did not!
This girl is patient, we have been writing every day from March 13th until today, August 13th (Yes, Friday the 13th). She kept me on the line for five months, but thank God (and Western Union) I am not out any money, just a broken heart.

I want to tell that I recently read there is a deceit on the Internet where Russian girls want to receive money from the western men under various pretexts and for this purpose specially correspond with them, and men which got acquainted with such girls have spent a lot of time all for nothing and cannot trust any girls any more....You are the good man and I don't want you you will get in this situation...be careful with it in any way.In the any relationship (and the more so in correspondence)I never will ask anybody about any money and even if somebody will offer money to me I not take.Money always spoilt relations.
