In a planned sequence over 7 months I was taken for over $23,000. The only personal information was in the first 2 contacts. Early talk of love and marriage began. Money was asked for many purposes from documentation, 5 failed attempts to fly her to the US, medicine, food and female hygiene products. Each episode always had an event causing failure and need for more money. If request for money is not immediately provided, much anger with harsh words occurs. One episode leads to another. There was even a promise of a 6 million dollar inheritance for which I was asked to contribute thousands for processing OR my credit card number and my home equity account number. One unexpected event was family requiring I pay for Traditional African Marriage costing thousands before they would release her to travel to the US. Many certificates were provided looking suspicious. Questions asked were always ignored. Emails were often brief and content repeated much like cut and paste. Initial writing was of a broken type of English, then it seemed at least 2 other writers were involved. Emails were always at the same time and Ashley would not account for her other time in any way to verify.
