Report N1 (added on March, 18, 2011)
She contacts me thru RBrides. Says she is schoolteacher of young children, but her pictures are clearly professional modeling shots.
Report N2 (added on October, 24, 2011)
Starts out very sweet and wanting to meet. AKA you buy her airfare. She contacted me on SingleBrides and I thought it was funny that she never viewed my profile in all the times we were talking (4 months) She works with a fake travel agency called Premium tour phone number 38099 555-67 76 and her contact there is Maria Kobok and they operate out of 245.67 Vatutina St. which is an industrial area. The general manager they say is Alexandra Litashova.
The scam starts out simple were you buy her a cheap ticket as she always mentions how she wants to save you money. At the time is sounds amazing which is too good to be true. Round trip air ticket for $890 US dollars, a visa for $270 USD, and $200 USD for the international passport totaling $1,360 USD. Coming from the US a round trip tickets currently cost about $1,600 on the cheapest web sites. This should be your first hint.
Maria sends you an invoice that looks semi legit when viewed online with seals of approval, well designed logos, and a well working website. If you can read Russian you will see what is up.
The Agent doesnt take credit card and the reason is b/c it isnt very popular in their country. You Can only pay by wire or Western Union. They use JP Morgan Chase as their intermediary bank and ask that you wire funds to:
Stazenko Sergii Anatolievich
Acc# 4405 8850 1892 6110 Ukraine, Horlivka
Bank of Benefiviart: Privatbank
Or use Western Union:
Alexandra Litashova (general manager)
When the money comes, well guess what she needs more money ($1,200) to present to the customs agent and to prove she has enough means to support herself while on her trip.
After that she is on her way so she says. The travel agency sends you an itinerary but it isnt official. A simple cut and paste from some website. They never give you a confirmation number or any details other than be at your local airport to meet her at the gate.
About 6 hours into her flight you get an e-mail from her saying she was in an auto accident while going to the airport, the taxi driver is hurt, she has a broken hand, and concussion. Oh yes, she is very sorry and hopes you arent mad at her. I dont expect to hear from her again unless she needs more money.
