Trying to get money to come to U.S to visit.
The picture is of a young girl not an older one like in your profile. She wrote me a few times with typical I love you after 1 letter without even me sending a picture. I thought it was a scam and played along. After a few letters she had a travel agency "Sever Travel"send me an email detailing the expenses for her to come to me. They didn't even put down a US destination. I told her she would need to be patient for awhile and the emails stopped immediately. I was looking through the letter on your site and there was a common phrase " I miss you very much sweetheart and I am counting the days to be together..." pretty funny
Received initial contact via Yahoo Personals. Sent her e-mail address to me. Very agressive as far as pursuing a relationship.
Practically had us married in the very first e-mail.
Sent response to personals ad with pics in profile resembling the dark haired girl shown here. Her ad stated she was from Portland, Oregon.
Then she sent 2 emails stating she made a "mistake" on her profile, but had deleted it and only wanted to speak with me. I sent a reply after the first email stating I was not interested, but another one just showed up a few minutes ago.

After several very persuasive e-mails about her granny and her mom and dad working at the market, her sister at the university, how she goes to the internet cafe, she teaches english to little children. She says that Russian men are mean and do not know how to treat women( and that their dicks are too small) She wants to start a family and has never been abroad. Her mom and dad approve of her finding a man in another country.....on and on with how we connected and she has feelings and thinks the only way to truly know a person is to meet themm face to face.....on and on..

Nataliya sent me a personal note on Yahoo Personals which I responded to. As you can see in the letters there are many of the classic signs. She started droping hints about traviling and the last letter to date talked about finding out about air fairs. That might be alright with me except that I only have three e-mails from her (four counting the initial contact) and I have only known her for six days. Some how in these last six days she has become maddly in love with me and misses me so much.
Six Days! I mean I know I'm good, but damn!
I don't know if she is already on this site or not. I don't have the time to go through all the names one at a time. I do have my suspetions that she is based out of Houston. Or possibly South Cali. This comes from the fact that she listed her Personal on Yahoo as being in Houston. And a map she sent me originated from a professor's (Alexander D King) culture study of her supposed homeland; he is out of California, moving to Scotland.
She hasn't asked for money yet but all the signs are there. I have a filling this isn't her first or last rodeo. So no proof, but I wanted to sound a warning before someone is not quite as carful and let their feelings get in the way of good sence.
Oh she also sent me two short 4 second videos.

Report N11 (added on June, 1, 2005)
Contacted me through Yahoo personals. Claimed she was in Nashville. When I replied and received another letter from her, She was in Russia. She became serious very fast. By the second letter, she was in love with me. By the fourth letter she wanted either me to come see her or her to come see me. She NEVER asked for money. She had a "travel" agency send an email with the cost of her trip. I played along and told her I would send some money to help pay for her trip. She wanted me to send it to her instead of agency. Thats when I started searching the web for any info I could find on her. I found her picture on this site under another name.

This Scammer sent an unsolicited email to me and I thought I would string her along and gather a little evidence. After one email she wants to come to your country. After five emails she wants money to help with travel expenses.

Contacted me through yahoo personals. Was researching where she lived to learn more about it when I found several sites that had her listed as a known scammer.
Report N14 (added on August, 16, 2005)
In early June, I was emailed, out of the blue, by a Svetalana who said she was hoping this email address was me (from the EastWestMatch website.) She said she was coming to the US very shortly and could work near me.She wanted to know thename of my city and closest international airport to fly into, so she could work close to me. She sent pictures and updated me as she flew to Moscow to get her visa and come to the US. When at Moscow, she ran short of money and asked for $450 plus sent a copy of her visa to me. Of course, I had been skeptical from the start and forwarded the image of the visa to the consulate in Moscow. They referred me to scammer websites such as yours , but I ended up at Elenas models and found out about the Lincoln Memorial background, not the eagle background on the visa seal. Svetlana's was the eagle background. I sent a polite refusal and got an interesting reply that Svetlana would try to borrow the money there! I never heard from her again, but a few days later the U.S. consulate confirmed no one of that age or name had gotten a valid visa.

This gal contacted me through Yahoo personals, and, thankfully, I found that her first letter was an exact copy of another Elena, with a different picture, on another site. I informed her that her name, with almost an exact copy of her letter, were listed on a scam site, and she never wrote back to me again.
