Started contact first, told me how hard working she is but had very little money. Told me about her life in her city, she said that she was an emergency co-ordinator in her city her best friend OLGA was a lawyer for the state. Gradually over a number of letters she told me how her feelings for me where growing and how much she wanted us to meet. I suggested that she meet me in Moscow and we travel back to her city. At first this was ok but she gradually convinced me it would be better for her to travel to UK. Started to ask for money for passport and flight and medical insurance. I sent ?600 to cover these costs then she informed me that it was law in Russia that any person traveling abroad needed a minimum of $3000. I contacted the Russian embassy who told me this was wrong. I asked her to return the money, no reply since.
